Northern California Lions Clubs formed it in 1982. It is a MD-4 sanctioned Lions program. It has now expanded to clubs throughout California and Nevada. Clubs from all parts of California and Nevada are supporting it and referring patients to be assisted. The Lions realized that many who are hearing-impaired do not have the means to improve their hearing. The Foundation has a hearing aid bank and supports patients who need hearing aids. To date, thousands of patients have received care, through our efforts, that otherwise would not have been available to them. More at http://earofthelion.org/
